In the second lesson of our study of Acts, we learn about the time of preparation that took place between Jesus' ascension and the coming of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost. peter veres cancer help This was a time when the disciples were gathered together in Jerusalem, waiting and praying for the fulfillment of the promises of Jesus. During this time, they were also engaged in the work of spreading the gospel and adding to the number of believers.
