Merry Christmas!

Today has been a long day of celebrating the coming of our Savior into the World.  We w0rshipped this morning in three different languages.  There was so much excitement and lost of impromptu dancing.  After chrch we ate a huge lunch, followed by more dancing!! I hope you had a wonderful day celebrating together with family and friends.

This month has gone by so quickly!  It has been full of many encouraging moments, as I look forward to the future work here.  I have asked for your pryers over the past couple months as we begin a new work in a large neighborhood in our city.  Well, these past weeks I began the entry work.  This included meeting chrch leaders and mapping the community.  In the beginning, the thought of conducting these meetings really overwhelmed me.  I wanted to be able to communicate well and forge new, healthy relationships in this area.  Many of you pryed and the Father was faithful to answer all of those pryers.  I was able, through his strength, to conduct these meetings and understand the majority of the answers.  My language teacher helped me understand some of the details.

The goal of this new project is to plant a chrch in this large neighborhood.
There is a National population in this area.  We are prying through these efforts we will engage them and many others with the Truth.  The pastors that I spoke to these past two weeks are excited about this prospect and have even offered their members to share the Good News.

Requests

  • Ask for wisdom as we pry through strategy for this new work
  • Ask for openness among the people of this neighborhood, who will hear the Good News
  • Ask for believers to have an intense desire to share with this neighborhood
